Affiliate Disclosure
Locomu helps readers explore social media tools, compare their features, and build practical workflows. Some links on this website may be affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, start a subscription, or complete another qualifying action, Locomu may receive a commission or other compensation from the provider.
This disclosure explains how affiliate relationships may support Locomu and how we approach the information we publish.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special link that allows a company or affiliate network to recognize that a visitor came from Locomu. If the visitor completes an action that qualifies under the relevant program, the company may compensate us.
A qualifying action can vary by program. It may include purchasing a product, signing up for a subscription, or registering for a service. Not every link on Locomu is an affiliate link, and we may link to providers with whom we have no financial relationship.
Does It Cost You More?
Using an affiliate link generally does not add a separate charge to your purchase. However, prices, discounts, taxes, billing terms, and special offers are set by the provider and may vary.
Before signing up or making a purchase, review the provider’s current pricing and terms. Locomu does not control third-party prices or subscription conditions.
How Affiliate Relationships Support Locomu
Affiliate compensation may help support the costs of operating and developing Locomu, including website hosting, research, content creation, and maintenance.
The amount or type of compensation may differ between programs. We may receive a one-time commission, a recurring commission, or another form of compensation, depending on the provider’s terms. Compensation is not guaranteed for every click, signup, or purchase.
Editorial Independence
Our goal is to help readers make informed decisions. We aim to describe products accurately, explain relevant limitations, and consider whether a tool fits particular needs.
Affiliate compensation should not determine our editorial conclusions or guarantee a favorable review, rating, or recommendation. We may discuss products that do not offer an affiliate program and include limitations or alternatives to products that do.
A listing on Locomu does not mean that a product is suitable for every reader, and it does not mean every feature has been tested firsthand. Where a feature has been tested directly, we aim to identify that experience. Information based on provider documentation should be distinguished from hands-on testing.
Sponsored Content and Other Relationships
Locomu may also feature advertising, sponsored content, or paid placements. These arrangements are separate from affiliate links, although a page may contain more than one type of commercial relationship.
Sponsored content and paid placements should be clearly identified. If a provider gives us free access, a discounted subscription, or another benefit that could affect how readers evaluate our coverage, we aim to disclose that relationship where relevant.
Where Disclosures Appear
When a page contains affiliate links or another relevant commercial relationship, we aim to make the disclosure clear and easy to notice near the related recommendation or link. This page provides a general explanation and should be read alongside any disclosure appearing with specific content.
Third-Party Services and Tracking
Affiliate providers or networks may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute referrals and determine whether an action qualifies for compensation. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own policies and applicable settings.
Please review Locomu’s Privacy Policy and the relevant provider’s privacy information for more details about data handling and choices that may be available to you.
Your Choice
You are free to visit a provider directly rather than using an affiliate link. Your decision to use a link is entirely yours. We encourage you to compare features, pricing, account requirements, and terms before selecting any product or service.
