Behind Locomu

Corrections Policy

Locomu aims to provide accurate, clear, and useful information about social media tools and workflows. Product features, pricing, integrations, and platform rules can change, and mistakes can occur. When we identify a meaningful error, we aim to correct it and explain the change to readers.

This policy applies to Locomu’s tool profiles, comparisons, guides, and other editorial content.

What You Can Report

We welcome reports about information that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Examples include:

  • An incorrect product name, provider, or official website.
  • Outdated pricing, billing terms, plan limits, or availability.
  • An inaccurate description of a feature or supported platform.
  • A missing distinction between account types, content formats, or publishing methods.
  • A broken link, discontinued product, or misleading screenshot.
  • A factual error in a guide, comparison, or historical reference.
  • An unclear or missing disclosure of a relevant commercial relationship.

Suggestions about clarity and usability are also welcome, even when they do not concern a factual error.

How to Submit a Correction

Please contact us through the Contact page and include:

  1. The URL of the page or tool profile.
  2. The information you believe should be corrected.
  3. An explanation of the issue and the information you believe is accurate.
  4. A link to a reliable source, such as the provider’s official documentation, pricing page, or announcement, when available.
  5. Any relevant context, such as the plan, region, account type, or date to which the information applies.

You do not need to provide evidence to report a possible problem. Sources and context help us investigate, particularly when a feature is available only under certain conditions.

Please do not send passwords, access tokens, payment information, or other sensitive account details with your report.

How We Review Reports

When a report reaches us, we aim to review the relevant page and assess the information against available evidence. Depending on the issue, this may involve checking official documentation, comparing sources, examining the context in which a claim was made, or testing a feature when practical.

Product documentation can be incomplete, and information may vary by region, subscription, account type, or date. If we cannot verify a claim, we may seek additional information, clarify the uncertainty, temporarily remove the claim, or mark it as unconfirmed.

We prioritize issues that could materially affect a reader’s decision, such as incorrect pricing, an inaccurate description of a paid feature, or a misleading statement about platform support. Review times may vary, and we cannot guarantee an individual response to every submission.

Corrections, Updates, and Clarifications

We use different approaches depending on the nature of the change:

  • Corrections: When a material factual statement was wrong when published, we aim to correct the information and add a note explaining what changed.
  • Updates: When accurate information changes after publication—for example, a provider changes a plan—we may update the relevant details and indicate when they were checked or updated.
  • Clarifications: When wording could reasonably cause confusion, we may revise it and add an explanation where the change materially affects understanding.
  • Minor edits: Spelling, grammar, formatting, and other changes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a separate note.

A meaningful correction note should identify the issue and the corrected information. Its placement and detail may vary with the content and the significance of the error.

Tool Profiles and Comparisons

A change to a tool profile may also affect related comparison tables, recommendations, or guides. Where relevant and practical, we aim to review connected content so that corrected information is reflected consistently.

If a product closes or a feature is discontinued, we may update its profile to explain the status, preserve useful historical context, or remove the listing when keeping it would mislead readers.

A last checked or last updated date refers to the information identified on that page. It does not necessarily mean that every feature, plan, or integration was tested or verified on that date.

Requests from Providers and Commercial Partners

Tool providers, advertisers, and affiliate partners may report errors or provide updated information. Their submissions are assessed using the same editorial standards as other reports. A commercial relationship does not guarantee a requested change, a favorable assessment, or removal of a verified limitation.

We may decline a requested correction when the available evidence does not support it. If credible sources disagree, we may explain the disagreement rather than present an uncertain claim as settled fact.
